Borujerd most beautiful tourist zone endangered

Borujerd, Jan. 27 (MNA) – The uncontrolled constructions in Goldasht, a tourist zone in Borujerd, have ruined the region pastoral beauty.

The apple garden has been losing its natural beauty and ‘Guerin’ fountains have been dried.

Goldasht is a sylvan area in Borujerd which is a tourist zone known to many visitors to the region.

Mehr News report reveals that this natural beauty has been ravished and illegal constructions have destroyed the whole natural beauty of the region.

The head of Borujerd Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization said that to build a tourism international zone in Goldasht, several projects have been proposed so far demanding cooperation by all organizations.

Goldasht is an alluvial plain with myriad of water fountains fed by water from melting ices of Guerin Mountains which contribute to a river in the region.

Both sides of Goldasht access route are surrounded by eye-catching scenery of apple gardens. But all these beauties have been defiled in recent years by illegal constructions.
